Torres De Villaricos - Dive Site In Spain

TORRES DE VILLARICOS (9m)

A beautiful, relaxing 'chill out' wreck dive, ideal for novice and experienced divers alike.
A series of long since collapsed steel and stone towers criss-cross along the seabed.
Covered in aquatic life and surrounded by a stunning rugged rock terrain, with 'swim throughs', natural light, varied topography and historical value, Torres De Villaricos really is an essential dive whilst in this area of Spain..

CARBONARES

Carboneras has some of the cleanest beaches in Spain said some recent reports for 2007, the same can be said for under the water the visability normally is around the 15 mtr mark this is due to the bottom compostion being made up of fine stones much like the type you would find in a fish tank.
Whilst diving here you could be mistaken for thinking you were in fact in a fish tank the bundance of fish at this dive site is awe inspiring. Other species including octopus & cuttle fish can be found.
A huge anchor and cannon also add to the intresting items to be found.
Being a shore dive with a max depth of 9 mtrs with summer water temps of 27c this is one of our favorite dive sites for teaching on all but the worse sea conditions.
