SCUBAJIVE

Scubajive is a PADI Resort based in beautiful sunny Mojacar Playa on Spain's south eastern coast.

Our staff are highly qualified PADI Professionals and we pride ourselves in offering a truly memorable diving experience for both qualified divers and student divers alike.

Here at Scubajive we fully appreciate that safety is "Number 1" followed very closely by FUN! All our dives and dive courses are run in a professional manner but with the emphasis on remembering that this is a recreational activity, and therefore needs to be highly enjoyable for all involved (including the Scubajive staff).

Our approach to diver training is laid back and friendly, with no "conveyor belt" courses operated. In other words, don't expect to be rushed into completing your course. We know from experience that some people take to diving quicker than others, and any undue pressure does nothing more than complicate matters.

The diving in this region is excellent, and for Mediterranean diving it's up there with the best! Temperatures under the water range from 15 degrees in winter to up to 28 degrees in the height of summer.

The Scubajive Shop is in the perfect spot. No industrial estates, back street dive shops, or pokey little, hidden away centres. Nope, the Jive Shop is right on the beach. The sea is quite literally a stones throw away (I know, I've tried it!)
We're located on the main Mojacar Beach Road. There is ample parking in the car park out front and we have a large front terrace. Passing through double doors to the bright and airy dive centre and shop area you can then enter the air conditioned classroom before exiting the rear of the centre onto our sunny beach terrace.
Hot and cold showers are available at the centre for after your dive and refreshments are provided during your surface interval free of charge.

Beach By The Dive Shop

We have an onsite compressor, "Jive Van" for transporting divers and gear to and from sites, and a 5.5 metre Northcraft Custom fitted Diving RIB with 75bhp Mariner Outboard engine.

Scubajive is open all year round, and offers substantial discounts on winter diving, as well as cheap flights and accomodation to suit all requirements.

Ask about my collection some of them date back over 4 million years.
I even own some Megladon teeth.
I've done most of my diving here in Spain I just love it.
Other places I've dived include Red Sea, Florida Keys, East Coast Florida and the Gulf of Mexico.
I spent most of my working life fixing accidentally damaged cars,but have given all that up now.
I also like to snow ski so, living where I do now, I am only a few hours away from the slopes of Sierra Neveda so if you visit in the winter and you ski and dive what more do you need?
